High Temperature Sintering Furnace manufactured by United Enterprises is engineered for sintering of advanced materials at temperatures well above conventional PM ranges typically up to 1800C and beyond, depending on configuration.
Brief Description:
Materials such as advanced ceramics, hard metals, refractory alloys, oxide and non-oxide ceramics need very high sintering temperatures with carefully controlled atmospheres. Our high temperature sintering furnaces use silicon carbide rods or MoSi2 (molybdenum disilicide) heating elements for stable, long-life service at extreme temperatures.
Both batch and continuous designs are offered, with vacuum, inert and reducing atmosphere variants. Multilayer high-quality fibre insulation, programmable temperature controllers (with up to 30 segment ramp-soak profiles), and modern safety devices are standard features.
Each furnace is custom built around the customers material, target temperature and atmosphere profile.
