About Belt Furnace
Belt Furnace manufactured by United Enterprises is a continuous heat processing furnace where the workload travels on a moving belt through preheating, heating, soaking and cooling zones.
Brief Description:
Belt furnaces are widely used for heat treatment, brazing, sintering and curing of small to medium-sized components. The belt can be of mesh or cast link design depending on load weight and operating temperature. United Enterprises offers belt furnaces in both electrical and high-efficiency gas-fired versions, with full atmosphere control where required.
Our in-house Ammonia Cracker, Endo Gas Generator, Exo Gas Generator and Nitrogen Generator are used to create reducing or inert atmospheres inside the furnace.
Each belt furnace is engineered around the customers production cycle, atmosphere requirement and component flow.
Characteristics:
- Continuous belt-based heat processing
- Suitable for hardening, sintering, brazing, annealing
- Belt can be mesh or cast link as per load
- Maximum temperature up to 1200C
- Available in electric or gas-fired heating
- Atmosphere control with cracked ammonia / endo / nitrogen
- Belt tension and water quench mechanism integrated
- Fully automated SCADA system for process recording

FAQs:
Q: Mesh belt vs cast link belt what is the choice?
A: Mesh belt is for small light loads, cast link belt for heavier or abrasive components. Our engineers select the belt based on your load profile.
Q: What atmosphere is most common?
A: Cracked ammonia is most common for hardening, while endothermic gas is used for carburizing and carbonitriding.
Q: Do you offer single-shift and three-shift designs?
A: Yes. Furnaces are designed for the customers shift pattern with appropriate refractory and component sizing for long-term reliability.
