About Bright Annealing Furnace
Bright Annealing Furnaces manufactured by United Enterprises are used to carry out bright annealing in a reducing atmosphere primarily for stainless steel, copper alloys and similar metals where surface finish is critical.
Brief Description:
We manufacture and export best-in-class Bright Annealing Furnaces, used for bright annealing of SS pipes, tubes, wires and sheets. Our furnaces are supplied with Ammonia Crackers manufactured in-house, which provide the reducing atmosphere inside the furnace.
For bright annealing to be effective, tube surfaces must be clean and free of foreign matter, and the atmosphere needs to be comparatively oxygen-free. To achieve this, oxygen and nitrogen must be replaced with dry hydrogen or cracked ammonia (75% Hydrogen, 25% Nitrogen), creating a reducing environment that protects the material from oxidising. We are one of the few manufacturers in India with in-house facility to design, manufacture and install such furnaces along with the matching gas generators.
These are mainly continuous-type furnaces; for specialised needs, batch-type configurations are also supplied.
Characteristics:
- Bright annealing in cracked ammonia / hydrogen atmosphere
- In-house manufacturing of furnace and gas generators
- Mainly continuous type batch versions on request
- Automatic temperature regulation 1C
- Mainly used for SS / Copper wires, sheets, pipes
- Furnace length and kW rating designed for production
- Low-density high-quality insulation
- Fully automated SCADA system

FAQs:
Q: Cracked ammonia or pure hydrogen?
A: Cracked ammonia is more economical and is sufficient for most bright annealing. Pure hydrogen is used for premium mirror-finish applications.
Q: Continuous or batch type?
A: Continuous is most common for high-volume bright annealing of pipes, tubes and wires. Batch is used for special components.
Q: Do you supply complete bright annealing lines?
A: Yes. Pay-off, degreasing, furnace, ammonia cracker, quench and take-up units are all built in-house and supplied together. This BRIGHT ANNEALING FURNACE is a type of bell furnace used in the heat treatment of stainless steel and other alloys. It provides a controlled atmosphere of hydrogen and nitrogen gasses, which prevents oxidation and ensures a clean, bright surface finish. This BRIGHT ANNEALING FURNACE can reach high temperatures up to 2,200 deg F, and its precise temperature control and uniform heating help to eliminate internal stresses and improve the mechanical properties of the metal. This results in improved corrosion resistance, ductility, and strength.
