Carbonitriding Furnace manufactured by United Enterprises is a controlled-atmosphere heat treatment furnace where both carbon and nitrogen are diffused into the surface of steel components to produce a hard, wear-resistant case.

Brief Description:

Carbonitriding combines carburizing and nitriding for better hardenability than pure carburizing on certain alloys useful for gears, shafts, bearings, fasteners and tools. Our carbonitriding furnaces use endo gas with controlled ammonia addition to achieve the right balance of carbon and nitrogen.

Sealed quench (IQF), pusher, mesh belt and pit configurations are available, with multi-zone temperature control, dew point and oxygen probe-based atmosphere management, and PLC / SCADA-based recipe storage.

Each line is engineered around the customers part mix, target case depth and production rate.
