Brief Description:

In a Walking Hearth Furnace, the entire hearth section steps forward in a controlled lift-advance-lower motion, carrying the load from charge to discharge end. This avoids the contact damage seen in pusher designs and is suitable for billets, slabs, plates and large forging blanks.

We supply Walking Hearth Furnaces with recuperative gas-fired or electric heating, multi-zone temperature control, and high-density alloy hearth tiles. The mechanical drive and seals are designed for high-temperature service and minimum maintenance.
