About Nitriding Furnace

Nitriding Furnace manufactured by United Enterprises is used for the nitriding process in which nitrogen is diffused into steel components in the presence of ammonia, producing a hard wear-resistant surface with minimal distortion.

Brief Description:

We manufacture and export best-in-class Nitriding Furnaces, used for the case hardening process. Nitriding is widely employed to improve the wear or corrosion resistance of particular steel grades sprockets, bearings, gears and extrusion dies are common applications, especially in the aluminium extrusion industry. The nitriding process produces a hard case at temperatures below the alloy transformation temperature, so the treated piece is distorted negligibly or not at all. With nitriding, quenching is not required.

Our Nitriding Furnaces are supplied with Gas Generators such as Ammonia Crackers and Nitrogen Generators manufactured by us to provide a controlled atmosphere inside the furnace.

Each unit is engineered around the customers part mix, target case depth and process time.
