Brief Description:
The pit-type design is ideal for tall or long parts that cannot be conveniently processed in horizontal furnaces. Components are loaded from the top into a vertical heating chamber, with the entire body of the furnace recessed into the floor or installed in a pit.
We supply pit furnaces with electric or recuperative gas-fired heating, multi-zone temperature control, special air-recirculation fans and high-quality refractory insulation. Atmosphere-control versions are supplied with our own gas generators for processes such as bright annealing, carburizing and nitriding.
Each pit furnace is engineered for the customers component length, weight, batch size and process need.
