Reduction Furnace manufactured by United Enterprises is a controlled-atmosphere industrial furnace designed for the reduction of metal oxides into metallic powders, sponge or coarse metal used widely in powder metallurgy, refining and chemical industries.

Short Description:

In a reduction furnace, metal oxides such as iron oxide, copper oxide, tungsten oxide, molybdenum oxide and nickel oxide are exposed to a reducing atmosphere typically hydrogen, cracked ammonia or carbon monoxide at elevated temperatures. The oxygen is removed from the oxide and the metal is recovered in powder or sponge form for downstream pressing, sintering and alloying.

We manufacture and export best-in-class Reduction Furnaces in continuous (pusher tray, mesh belt and rotary) as well as batch (chamber, bell, retort) configurations. Multi-zone PLC temperature control, in-house gas generators and engineered exhaust systems make these furnaces reliable for round-the-clock production.

Each unit is engineered around the customers oxide chemistry, target metallic content, particle morphology and daily throughput. Atmosphere supply is supported by our in-house Hydrogen Generator, Ammonia Cracker and Nitrogen Generator.
