Brief Description:

Aluminium alloys particularly 2xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx series need carefully controlled heat treatment to develop their target mechanical properties. Our aluminium heat treatment furnaces deliver tight temperature uniformity (3C is achievable for solution treatment), with rapid quench and ageing as required by the alloy.

Configurations include batch (chamber, walk-in, drop-bottom), continuous (roller hearth, pusher) and large-format ageing ovens. Quench delay management is built into solution treatment lines.

Each unit is engineered around the customers alloy mix, part geometry and target properties.

A: For solution treatment, 3C is achievable. Higher uniformity classes can be specified per AMS 2750 if required.

Q: Drop-bottom or horizontal furnace?

A: Drop-bottom enables very short quench delay for aerospace parts; horizontal is more economical for general parts.

Q: Do you support AMS 2750 compliance?

A: Yes. We design, calibrate and document aluminium HT furnaces in line with AMS 2750 requirements for aerospace customers.
